Fan Casting Chaos in The Gatekeepers [the Power of Five] 2020-2026

Chaos is implied to be Satan or a very Satan-like figure. He is the king of the Old Ones, mysterious demonic entities from another universe who exist to destroy humanity [and animal life on Earth]: they wish to ''continue until the planet has been sucked dry, until there wasn't so much as a single bacterium left''. In human-shaped form he has no face or features and his voice sounds like water rushing from a pipe. In his ''true'' form he is too big and destructive to be fully percieved: with the glimpse of horns and scales. He is extremely vicious and also proud and vain, being extremely angered when Matthew Freeman managed to injure him near the end of the second book and he wants to go to any length to take revenge on Matt. Like the other Old Ones he prefers to see most of the downfall of humanity caused by them fighting each other after the Old Ones have caused difficulties such as slavery, flooding and food shortages: he despises humanity and like other non-human villains like Sauron or Kronos, thinks of them as insects. Chaos on the whole is a destructive force wishing to erode humanity from Earth: however he can be tricked as was the case with the death of Sapling and then the deaths of modern Matt and Scott.
