Hiles was the Sargent of the town’s police station. After multiple different appeals from Bertram, Hiles finally decides to head out to Frank’s house. Unfortunately he shows up right when the notorious Bartlett is at the house. The two end up killing each other right in front of Frank. The two inevitably return as spirits in Frank’s house.
