The original Hunting dog to amos Slade who was jealous of Copper when Amos Slade brought him to the home as a puppy but he eventually warms up to him and he always chases tod the fox since his child hood but he eventually gets hit by a train while he is chasing tod and his leg is badly injured In the process but he survives and Hence why Copper became vengeful and Swears revenge on his former friend
