Christopher Markus (born October 16, 1969) and Stephen McFeely (born February 24, 1970) are American screenwriters and producers. McFeely and Markus were the second and the third most successful screenwriters of all time in terms of U.S. box office receipts with a shared total gross of over $3.1 billion. However, in overall, they are the highest grossing screenwriters altogether in terms of worldwide box office with the total gross of $9.3 billion. They gained worldwide recognition for their works that include The Chronicles of Narnia film franchise and the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), having written the first three Captain America films (The First Avenger, The Winter Soldier and Civil War), in addition to Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame, which is currently the second highest-grossing film of all time unadjusted for inflation. They also created ABC's Agent Carter TV series, set in the MCU.

After being fired from his job at the bank and later being left by his wife for another man 38 year old Henry Teller sinks into depression until being struck by a bolt of black lightning and given super speed as well as access to the timeline so that he can manipulate the time-stream. Meanwhile Barry Allen the forensic scientist for the CCPD is talking with officer Eddie Thawne and Thawne's partner Donald Drake until they are informed of the Flash killing people at the bank. Eddie and Donald get there to find Henry opening a portal to the end of time so that he can send his old boss through the portal. Just then Barry Allen aka the Flash arrives and tries to stop Henry but during the altercation Barry is sent 30 years into the past to the year 1993 where he can't use his speed since it's before he got connected to the Speed Force. Barry realizes that he might be able to recreate the cosmic treadmill and get home with the right materials so he goes to find the only person he knows is rich enough to get those materials in 1993, Ted Kord aka the Blue Beetle. Barry tells Ted that he knows Ted is the Blue Beetle which convinces Ted that Barry is from the future and together they build the new cosmic treadmill. Once back in the present Barry and Henry have a final battle where Henry tries sending Barry to the end of time but Barry dodges the time portal and pushes Henry in.
