Barry Allen, a recent college graduate and forensic scientist, is eager to pursue his career while harboring a crush on his childhood friend, Iris West. During a routine lab experiment, a freak accident involving lightning and chemicals grants Barry superhuman speed, transforming him into The Flash. Struggling to control his new abilities, Barry is still determined to help people, especially Iris, though his newfound powers complicate his personal life. Meanwhile, Star Labs discovers a highly intelligent gorilla named Grodd in Africa. After transporting him to Central City, Grodd escapes his captivity and begins plotting to enslave the entire city. Using his telepathic abilities, Grodd manipulates the minds of citizens, turning them into loyal followers. Barry must quickly master his abilities and face Grodd in a race against time to prevent the city’s total collapse. As Barry uncovers Grodd’s plans and learns to fully embrace his new role as a hero, he confronts the villain in an epic showdown. With the help of Star Labs and a newly empowered Iris, Barry defeats Grodd, saving Central City from disaster. Post Credits: Barry is seen running through the streets when he suddenly experiences a disturbing vision of Earth being ravaged by Parademons under the command of Darkseid. He realizes that a much larger threat looms on the horizon.
