Gemma Chan (born 29 November 1982) is an English actress. A Worcester College, Oxford graduate, Chan began acting in the late 2000s, making her film debut in 2009. She rose to attention with her leading role in the Channel 4 science fiction series Humans (2015–2018). She gained prominence with her starring roles in Crazy Rich Asians and as Elizabeth Hardwick in Mary Queen of Scots (both 2018). She next starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain Marvel (2019) and Eternals (2021), portraying Minn-Erva and Sersi, respectively. She also had a voice role in the Disney animated film Raya and the Last Dragon (2021). She appeared in Olivia Wilde's psychological thriller Don't Worry Darling (2022) and Gareth Edwards' science fiction film The Creator (2023). Offscreen, Chan has been labelled a fashion icon. Some months after the sacred timeline broke and the multiverse collapsed, we see that the Avengers Tower has been sold to a scientific family and renamed as the Baxter Building. But Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm doesn't seem to be a normal family.. Apparently they got some superpowers during a mission in the 5 years before the Blip. Since then they operate as the Fantastic Four. Now that the multiverse broke they're up to one of their biggest superhero missions: they have to face theirselves, the Fantastic Four from a different universe. Both superhero teams are a threat to each otter as only of them can surive.. In a post credit scene the Fantastic Four meet Eternals Thena, Druig, Makkari and Eros to save Sersi, Phastos and Kingo from Arishem.
