Marco Beltrami (born October 7, 1966) is an American composer of film and television scores. He has worked in several genres, including horror (Scream, Mimic, The Faculty, Resident Evil, The Woman in Black, Carrie, A Quiet Place, and The Nun II), action (Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Live Free or Die Hard, World War Z), science fiction (I, Robot, Snowpiercer), Western(3:10 to Yuma, Jonah Hex, The Homesman), and superhero (Hellboy, The Wolverine, Logan, Venom: Let There Be Carnage). A long-time collaborator of Wes Craven, Beltrami scored seven of the director's films, including the original four Craven-directed films in the Scream franchise (1996–2011). He has also worked with such directors as James Mangold, Guillermo del Toro, Tommy Lee Jones, Alex Proyas, Ole Bornedal, Kathryn Bigelow, Bong Joon-ho, Dan Gilroy, and John Krasinski. He has been nominated for two Academy Awards for 3:10 to Yuma (2007), The Hurt Locker (2008), and a Golden Globe Award for A Quiet Place (2018). He won a Satellite Award for Soul Surfer (2011) and an Emmy Award for Free Solo (2018). The Fall of Bigfoot — Part Two is a 2025 American neo-Western action thriller film directed and produced by Guillermo del Toro from a story by David Twohy. It is the fourth mainline installment in the Bigfoot film series and the fifth film overall in the series, as well as the sequel to The Fall of Bigfoot — Part One, being released several months after that film. The film's cast includes Anne Hathaway, Everleigh McDonell, Tom Hiddleston, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Riley Keough, Katherine Waterson, Jay Ryan, Michael Rooker, Laurence Fishburne, and James Badge Dale. The film follows Allison Lane and her expedition as they are forced to make a final stand against Bigfoot; they also encounter enemy hunters that want to hunt Bigfoot for their own interests. The Fall of Bigfoot -- Part Two was released in theaters on November 16th, 2025; the film received critical acclaim upon release, with praise for Hathaway, McDonell, Fishburne and Dale's performances, visual style, direction, screenplay, action sequences, the darker tone, musical score, cinematography, story, and emotional weight. It outgrossed the second film at the box-office, earning $2.27 billion worldwide and broke several records during its theatrical run and became the highest grossing film in the series. A direct sequel is in development with many franchise regulars set to reprise their roles.
