Hans Florian Zimmer (born 12 September 1957) is a German film score composer and music producer. He has won two Oscars, four Grammys, and has been nominated for three Emmys and a Tony. Zimmer was also named on the list of Top 100 Living Geniuses, published by The Daily Telegraph in 2007. His works are notable for integrating electronic music sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements. Since the 1980s, Zimmer has composed music for over 150 films. He has won two Academy Awards for Best Original Score for The Lion King (1994) and for Dune (2021). His works include Gladiator, The Last Samurai, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Man of Steel, Interstellar, Dunkirk, No Time to Die, and the Dune series. Zimmer spent the early part of his career in the United Kingdom before moving to the United States. He is the head of the film music division at DreamWorks Pictures and DreamWorks Animation studios and works with other composers through the company that he founded, Remote Control Productions, formerly known as Media Ventures. His studio in Santa Monica, California, has an extensive range of computer equipment and keyboards, allowing demo versions of film scores to be created quickly. The Fall of Bigfoot — Part Two is a 2025 American neo-Western action thriller film directed and produced by Guillermo del Toro from a story by David Twohy. It is the fourth mainline installment in the Bigfoot film series and the fifth film overall in the series, as well as the sequel to The Fall of Bigfoot — Part One, being released several months after that film. The film's cast includes Anne Hathaway, Everleigh McDonell, Tom Hiddleston, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Riley Keough, Katherine Waterson, Jay Ryan, Michael Rooker, Laurence Fishburne, and James Badge Dale. The film follows Allison Lane and her expedition as they are forced to make a final stand against Bigfoot; they also encounter enemy hunters that want to hunt Bigfoot for their own interests. The Fall of Bigfoot -- Part Two was released in theaters on November 16th, 2025; the film received critical acclaim upon release, with praise for Hathaway, McDonell, Fishburne and Dale's performances, visual style, direction, screenplay, action sequences, the darker tone, musical score, cinematography, story, and emotional weight. It outgrossed the second film at the box-office, earning $2.27 billion worldwide and broke several records during its theatrical run and became the highest grossing film in the series.
