Pictures and Paramount Pictures as of both film productions and distribution companies that will distribute all Assassin's Creed Movies after it began in 2016, based on the award winning video game franchise by Ubisoft. The film series will set in the same universe as the video games throughout the course of history between the Assassins and Templars had primarily revolve around the rivalry and conflict between two ancient secret societies which took place in the modern era where the Templars have established the shadowy corporation of Abstergo as part of secret society.
