From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Cung Le (born May 25, 1972) is a Vietnamese-born American actor, retired mixed martial artist, Sanshou fighter and kickboxer. He competed as a middleweight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), holding a record of 2–2 with the organization. In kickboxing and sanshou, he is a former International Kickboxing Federation Light Heavyweight World Champion, having a professional kickboxing record of 17–0 before moving to mixed martial arts. He defeated Frank Shamrock to become the second Strikeforce Middleweight Champion before vacating the title to further pursue his acting career. Le is perhaps best known in mixed martial arts for competing in Strikeforce, holding a record of 7–1 with the organization before its demise. Po Lee is the father of two children. He is the son of Hong Kong migrants, as a child he was bullied in Chinatown and thus learned many martial arts from Master Yip, served in the army, worked as an LAPD detective, after the death of his father he is the owner of the Lotus Palace restaurant. The family is poor and in debt to the Chinese mafia, and they want their money back. Mafia boss Brandon Fong sends men to kidnap his daughter May. Po goes to save her, thanks to the art of kung fu, karate, judo, taekwondo, jaet kun do and hapkido, he defeats all Fong's men and saves his daughter. Fong tells him if he doesn't have his money and wants to save family and the restaurant, then he has to fight for him as a pro fighter in minor league of mixed martial arts. Lee agrees. The family fears he will be seriously injured or die. 1st match he fights Gruber and wins by KO in 1:30. Then he wins over Karpov, and even in a rematch. He defeats Buathong, Kang, Rover and Rizal in a victorious campaign. He gets a UFC contract and becomes the oldest fighter. After winning over Cruz, Voynov, Chieng, Yamaguchi, Zhao, Mellvile, Kagawa, Nakata, Lung, he reaches the top 15. He is offered a match with Ferreira, but he cheats and blinds Lee during the fight, and he loses. But Po defeats him in retaliation. He is offered a fight for the Welterweight title, no one believes him, He won over Louis. In the credits scene, McGregor returns to the ring. Pacquiao wants the fight for the best Asian of all time.
