While his chummy, joking, and occasionally simple-seeming personality sometimes leads him to accidentally reveal secrets, he is actually a brilliant technological genius. Royd’s expertise as a master engineer allows him to maintain and upgrade the Mecha Man armor, adding new weapon systems that surpass previous iterations. He also possesses superhuman strength, enabling him to handle heavy armor components and fight off opponents like Red Ring members with ease. He adopted the name "Royd" to distinguish himself from other workers named Roy at the SDN.
