The Diplomat
Gain Original Series
Ayşe Kaya, 31, is assigned as Turkey's cultural attaché in London — officially a prestigious posting, actually a consequence of her refusal to sign off on a dossier she believed was falsified. In London, she builds a network of contacts and intelligence while pursuing the diplomatic work officially assigned to her, uncovering a financial network that connects three European governments and two Turkish institutions. The romance with British intelligence officer Robert Ashby develops across two seasons with the specific tension of professional opposition.
