The conclusion to the modern Hammer Frankenstein Trilogy, and a loose remake of the 1969 film Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed. After faking his death and fleeing the police, Frankenstein finds shelter in a boarding house run by Anna Richter, who's mother has recently passed. Discovering that the woman had her fiancé murder her mother, Victor blackmails the pair into aiding and abetting his experiments on the secrets of immortality, which he plans to achieve using the help of his old professor, who rumour has it has discovered a way to freeze brains without damaging them. Meanwhile, Frankenstein's old friends continue their search for him, not believing that he is truly dead.
