Zoom was the second speedster to call himself the Reverse-Flash, acting as the arch-nemesis to Wally West. Taking his name and colors from Professor Zoom, a time-traveler who attempted to destroy everything the Flash has ever stood for through murder and deceit, Hunter Zolomon tried to inflict a life of tragedies on Wally West to make him a better hero. In the New 52, with Daniel West becoming the Reverse-Flash, an alternate version of Eobard Thawne takes on the mantle of Zoom instead, referred rarely to as "Professor Zoom". Zolomon briefly returns as Zoom in Rebirth, before taking up the moniker of the Flash. With Dawn of DC, he returns full-time as Zoom. Hunter Zolomon was created by Geoff Johns and Scott Kolins, first appearing in The Flash Secret Files and Origins #3 (2001).

The Dawn of Infinite the Jackal

GUN have been hunting down one certain mercenary working for Eggman since day one: Zero the Jackal, along with his team Jackal Squad. Zero has a new assignment from the surprisingly-alive Dr Robotnik of acquiring a powerful gem capable of warping realities and time itself: the Phantom Ruby. GUN sent Shadow and Team Dark to chase the Jackal Squad as they go to pull off the murderous heist. After losing his entire team, and a battle to Shadow, Zero had been mocked and insulted for being weak and not being worth the effort. When he finally obtained the Phantom Ruby, he volunteers to be Eggman's guinea pig for his experiment. Eventually, Zero will become the most powerful enemy Mobius has ever seen: Infinite.
