Born October 10, 1999 in Bethesda, Maryland, Darren Shalom Alford is a remarkably talented 16 year old with a charming personality and delightful smile. He made his TV debut as young Vernie in Nightmare Next Door (2012) on the Investigation Discovery channel. Shortly after, he followed with a role in the very popular Netflix original series "House of Cards" (2013-14), where he was cast as DeShawn. Currently Darren is in a re-occurring role on the AMC channel show "Turn: Washington's Spies" (2013-16), where he plays Cicero. Darren is the quintessential, fun-loving teenager, whose main joys are acting, drawing, sports, dancing, and hanging out with friends at the mall. His other hobbies consist of activities like going to the movies, making origami, and biking. He also played the violin for four years and is currently learning how to play the piano. When Ruby woke up on her tenth birthday, something about her had changed. Something frightening enough to make her parents lock her in the garage and call the police.
