Fan Casting GCPD Commissioner James Gordon in The Dark Knight: Legend of The Batman

In 2004 when Jim Gordon was the newly-promoted GCPD Lt. he found a close ally against the mob-controlled Gotham police department in the vigilante known as "The Batman". Although they were at odds during their early encounters, Gordon eventually started to rely on the vigilante to assist him on cases. The most crucial case being the downfall of the Falcone Crime Family. A case that also got Gordon quickly promoted once again, this time to the position of GCPD Commissioner. 20 years later, Gordon is still a close ally of "The Batman" as well as the father of "Batgirl".
