Fan Casting Christopher's Mom in The Curious Incident of the Dog In the Night-time

I know she wasn't on the list but I see her as a woman who can be gentle and kind, but also short tempered. A woman who's not happy in her life, who needs to be in control and create change. I think Emily Mortimer has that complexity in her face, I've seen her act in the new Mary Poppins movie, and while that's not my favorite movie (I love the original too much to enjoy this one the way I probably should), she's clearly a talented actress.
