Young Belgian reporter Tintin and his dog Snowy are travelling in Egypt when they discover a pharaoh's tomb with dead Egyptologists and boxes of cigars. This leads to them being framed for involvement in an international smuggling operation, which they must try and solve as well as prove their innocence.
