Born in Bangkok to a Dutch father and Chinese/Thai mother, Max was raised in Munich, Germany where he attended a European school graduating Cum Laude at age 17. From age four until 17, Max played professional tennis and considered going to a tennis University or to medical school before deciding to focus full time on his acting career. Max's first foray into the film industry was at age 11 doing commercials and modeling, and also landing his first film role in Yoko, a Nickelodeon feature. He studied acting during high school and auditioned for a number of significant roles before landing a four episode guest spot in De spa and a breakout series regular role in Goede tijden, slechte tijden, both in 2017.
The world of Arthadia is ruled by powerful kingdoms and mystical creatures. At the center of it all lies a magical tree called the Faerien, which is said to grant immortality and limitless power to those who possess it. However, the Faerien is heavily guarded by the most powerful mages of the land, and nobody has ever been able to obtain it. The show follows the journey of a young farmhand named Edric, who comes from a humble background and dreams of becoming a knight. He is thrust into the world of warfare and magic when his kingdom is invaded by a ruthless army of orcs who seek to claim the Faerien for themselves. As Edric trains to become a skilled fighter, he discovers that he possesses a rare gift – the ability to communicate with dragons. With the help of his dragon companion, he embarks on a perilous quest to find the lost sword of Arthanon – the only weapon that can defeat the orc king and his army. Along the way, Edric encounters a band of rebels fighting against the unjust rule of the king, a group of powerful mages who are determined to keep the Faerien from falling into the wrong hands, and a mysterious sorceress who may hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the Faerien. As the battle for the Faerien intensifies, Edric must decide what he is willing to sacrifice in order to protect the people he loves and restore peace to Arthadia.
