Claire the snob, John the rebel, Brian the nerd, Andrew the jock, and Allison the freak must spend a Saturday in high school detention together. They start at each other's throats, but they soon unite in needling the hard-nosed Assistant Principal Vernon, and gradually learn that they're more alike than different.
