He was the second Robin, Jason Todd. He was kidnapped and killed by the joker, later he was resurrected in the Lazarus pit and came back for vengeance on both batman and the joker. He went on to become the Vigilante known as the Red hood. He has anger but revenge is not his motivation - he's motivated by protecting others. His trauma and his resonance with the people of Gotham go hand in hand.
