The Band Table is a Christian band signed to the People & Songs label, featuring Jordan Merritt, Cliff Preston, Jonathan Lee, and Jade Lundgren. The group met at a writing retreat in 2022 and immediately knew that God had orchestrated their paths. The name “Table” is a call for all believers to join together in communion, all nations, all generations, and all denominations, to feast on the Bread of Life. Their lyrics carry rich truths written from experience after experience with Jesus while their music is exploding with life, joy, fun, stories, and everything else we love to experience at a table. The Band Table’s songs are intended to unite believers young and old and from every walk of life. As Galatians 3 tells us, “There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male and female; since you are all one in Christ Jesus.” The members of The Band Table each are well-established and respected songwriters having spent many years in the music industry. They’ve written with the likes of Michael Farren, Dustin Smith, Jennie Lee Riddle, Tony Wood, Kenna West, Matt Armstrong, Micah Tyler, Mia Fieldes, Travis Ryan, Brandon Collins, Charity Gayle, Kyle Lee, and countless others. Their songs have been recorded by artists such as For King and Country, Newsboys, Selah, Newsong, Shane & Shane’s The Worship Initiative, Carrollton, Philips, Craig and Dean, SuperChick, Daniel Doss, and many others! The families of The Band Table are more beautiful than the music could ever be! With each member being married and a total of 14 kids, family, and biblical family values are at the core of everything that happens within Table. They carry a strong awareness that their first call of ministry is to their families and everything else is out of the overflow of that ministry. You may see lots of kids at a Table event… and that’s the way it’s intended to be! Having spent numerous years in vocational ministry in various pastoral roles, each member of The Band Table carries a deep love for the local church and a desire to see the Bride of Jesus fully in love with the Bridegroom, eagerly awaiting His return, and actively spreading the love of God, the joy of The Lord, and the Unity of the Spirit throughout the earth. The Band Table are worship pastors at heart and love nothing more than to see the people of God meet with Him.

"The whole design of friendship is to avoid being left alone when the times of hardship, trial and calamity arise." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) Tensions rise as the band Boyz in the Sink broke up ever since Petunia, Larry's girlfriend, thought that fame was all that mattered to Larry and then left. Larry doesn't take it well, even though he is the richest and most popular veggie in Bumblyburg. Mr. Lunt on the other hand (if they have hands) lives a smaller life and begun a large chain of Burger Bell's that spread worldwide. Jimmy is busy at the VeggieCon signing autographs and trying to be hip with the peas. Junior is busy being in middle school, being a normal kid for once. But then, their old manager Khalil the Caterpillar has learned that these three scallions (you know which ones I'm talking about) have claimed to be a better band than the Boyz and plan to put a stain on their legacy. So the Boyz reunite once again and go on a road trip to perform at basically the mother of all Boyz in the Sink fandom: Paducah, Kentucky. Eventually, Larry and the Boyz have won and Petunia has returned to Larry, who proposes to her. And from that day forth, the Boyz in the Sink stay as what God chose them to be: the most popular veggie band ever.
