Christian music is about to get a serious dose of soul. Morgan Starner's highly anticipated debut single "FUNK!" delivers exactly what the title promises a 70s-inspired groove that proves worship music can make you move while it moves your spirit. The Colorado based artist, who has already impacted over 10 million people across social media platforms, brings an infectious energy to Christian music that feels both fresh and timeless. "FUNK!" blends retro flair with contemporary pop melodies, creating space for authentic faith that meets people exactly where they are. "This song captures the joy that surpasses understanding while staying honest about the journey," Starner explains. "You don't have to have it all figured out to celebrate what God is doing in your life." Drawing influence from powerhouse vocalists like Whitney Houston, Lauren Daigle, and Adele, Starner has developed a signature sound that seamlessly weaves funk, soul and pop together. As a multi-instrumentalist proficient in guitar, keyboard, and bass, plus music production, she crafts every aspect of her artistic vision. Starner's ministry extends far beyond traditional church walls. Her "Worship With Me" videos and original songs have created a global community, with worship recordings in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, Hebrew, and Swahili connecting diverse audiences worldwide. She currently leads worship locally with New Hills Worship in Brighton. Starner’s approach to faith stems from personal transformation. After struggling with insecurity, anxiety, and depression during adolescence, Starner re-encountered Christ at 18, turning her healing journey into songs designed to bring others closer to God. "I want to reach the hurting and broken, both inside and outside the church," she says. "FUNK!" represents a bold entry point for Starner's recording career, positioning her as an artist unafraid to color outside traditional Christian music lines. The track's groove-heavy production and vibrant energy signal a new generation of worship that embraces celebration alongside contemplation. As Christian music continues expanding its sonic palette, Starner's debut arrives perfectly timed to introduce audiences to worship that doesn't compromise authenticity for accessibility. "FUNK!" proves that faith-based music can be both deeply spiritual and irresistibly danceable.

"The whole design of friendship is to avoid being left alone when the times of hardship, trial and calamity arise." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) Tensions rise as the band Boyz in the Sink broke up ever since Petunia, Larry's girlfriend, thought that fame was all that mattered to Larry and then left. Larry doesn't take it well, even though he is the richest and most popular veggie in Bumblyburg. Mr. Lunt on the other hand (if they have hands) lives a smaller life and begun a large chain of Burger Bell's that spread worldwide. Jimmy is busy at the VeggieCon signing autographs and trying to be hip with the peas. Junior is busy being in middle school, being a normal kid for once. But then, their old manager Khalil the Caterpillar has learned that these three scallions (you know which ones I'm talking about) have claimed to be a better band than the Boyz and plan to put a stain on their legacy. So the Boyz reunite once again and go on a road trip to perform at basically the mother of all Boyz in the Sink fandom: Paducah, Kentucky. Eventually, Larry and the Boyz have won and Petunia has returned to Larry, who proposes to her. And from that day forth, the Boyz in the Sink stay as what God chose them to be: the most popular veggie band ever.
