Possibly one of the few honest men who are after Jonah Hex, the ranger who is (egregiously) called ‘Pow-Wow’ by the dimestore paperbacks pursues the infamous outlaw solely for the sake of justice. The bounty changes nothing except an increase of competition that will undoubtedly get in the way. No matter, for Ohiyesa Smith is by far the best rider and an expert shot with a rifle. The amateurs likewise after Hex cannot compare; except the reward set by Turnbull has attracted more than just rank amateurs and opportunists, but the deadliest shootists, killers, and hustlers that have ever walked American soil.
