Fan Casting Maverick "Mace" Ryder in The Bounty of Ryder Presents — Mace & Sue

Freddie Highmore as Maverick "Mace" Ryder: A newly minted lawman in Wyoming and the future father of Charlotte Ryder. Young, impulsive, and frequently reckless, Mace initially struggles to reconcile his instincts with the responsibilities of wearing a badge. His willingness to take risks, however, gradually becomes one of his greatest strengths, particularly when protecting people who cannot protect themselves. Beneath his rebellious personality is a deeply ingrained sense of honor and justice inherited from his father, Larry. His relationship with Sue Linson becomes the most important turning point of his early adulthood, while his experiences with corruption within the marshal service ultimately shape the principled but hardened lawman seen in later installments.
