Ewan McGregor as Sheriff William Mallory: The noble and honest sheriff of Cody, Wyoming and Bennett's superior, who has since become sympathetic towards Charley's actions following the events of the previous films, but the laws of Wyoming force him to comply with Bennett, of whom he shares an extreme dislike for his criminal past and lack of regret for the crimes he has committed.
