Natasha is being chased by Secretary of State Thadeus Ross, as she was on the run from government for helping Steve Rogers and violating Sokovia Accords. Pursued by a force from her past that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy, and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
