The film tells the entire story the Black Knight from his father's death to his demotion to killing his corrupt mentor, rebuilding the order, the murder of his wife and son, killing his old friend and his final moments. The film stars Viggo Mortensen, Cate Blanchett, Ariadna Gil, Sean Astin, Elijah Wood, Lewis Alsamari, Jamie Harding, Omar Berdouni, Cas Anvar, Phillip Shabaz, Tom Hiddleston, Henry Cavill, Richard Madden and Michael Gambon.
