1949, Austria. A string of coincidences and freak accidents lead to a honeymooning couple to follow along on an eccentric doctor’s search in the countryside for an old acquaintance from before the war - the greatest “architect” of his generation.
What ensues is a tragic, absurd and revealing tale about the depths of human depravity and how we cope with our own complicity in atrocity.
