It's been over 7 years since Albert lost his beloved Armond and he has to run their nightclub "The Birdcage" on his own. His family is worried that he is working to hard and want him to take a some time off. So they took him on a family vacation to one of former Senator Keeley's vacation homes in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. At first, Albert wasn't to thrilled about going to Vermont since he believes that will be mostly snow and maple syrup, although he does love maple syrup, but once he got there he is taken by the beauty of the landscape and enjoys the boutique shops and cafes. In of the little coffee shops they meet a handsome wheelchair bound stranger name Vincent Cranburg and his daughter Amilia and granddaughter Mandy and all of them hit it off. Then the two families are thinking up some ideas on getting Albert and Vincent together. Will Vincent be Albert's new love interest or will Albert label this as a one time moment of happiness and return to Miami and keep running The Birdcage?
