Doctor Charles Francis Xavier, also known as Professor X, was a Mutant with telepathic powers and member of the Illuminati. Professor X aided the other members of the Illuminati in killing Thanos on Titan. A few years later, Professor X attended a meeting of the Illuminati when Doctor Strange was bought before them having been detained after travelling the Multiverse. When Scarlet Witch attacked their headquarters, Professor X gave Strange some parting advice before confronting Maximoff. Xavier attempted to defeat her telepathically, but Maximoff ripped off the head of his astral body instead, killing him.
