Karyn Leibovich is producer for Sesame Workshop. Prior to working on Sesame Street, Leibovich worked on The Oprah Winfrey Show. She won a Primetime Emmy Award for her work on the special Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.

The Bert and Ernie Show (1994 - 2010)

Bert and Ernie have been and always will be my favorite characters on Sesame Street. Their chemistry is unmatched, comedic and timeless. That's why I thought it would've been cool if these two characters had a spin off of their own. The Bert and Ernie Show is a spinoff starring both Bert and Ernie tackling life situations with comedic results. It will be filmed in the same studio which will have the material taped with no audience. It will then be played in a theatre so it gives the illusion that the show was filmed in front of a live audience. The show's rating will be TV - PG only due to discretion. It's final episode will be in late March of 2010 because the people behind it want to move on to bigger and better things.
