John Lennon (Ryan Presscott) starts the Quarrymen in 1956 and meets Paul McCartney (Danny Miller) backstage at one concert the next year. Lennon lets McCartney in the band along with McCartney's friend, George Harrison (Freddie Highmore), less than a year later. Many years later, Ringo Starr (Edward Holcroft) becomes their final choice on drums after they kick out Pete Best (Barrett Carnahan). This films features the adventures the four boys had up until 1969, when Lennon leaves the band.
