He had always prided himself on his ability to outsmart and outfight his foes, but the Joker had broken him in ways that he never thought possible. Now, at the age of 35, Batman had retired from crime fighting. He had hung up his cape and cowl, and had resigned himself to a quiet life away from the chaos of Gotham's streets. The Joker was unpredictable and deadly, and Batman knew that he was the only one who could stop him. He didn't have the same physical prowess that he once had, but he still had his wit and his determination. As he donned his old suit, Batman knew that this would be his toughest challenge yet. He would have to face his fears and confront the Joker head on. But he was determined to protect his city, no matter the cost.
