Zachary Edward Snyder (born March 1, 1966) is an American filmmaker. He made his feature film debut in 2004 with Dawn of the Dead, a remake of the 1978 horror film of the same name. Since then, he has directed or produced a number of comic book and superhero films, including 300 (2006) and Watchmen (2009), as well as the Superman film that started the DC Extended Universe, Man of Steel (2013), and its follow-ups, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017), the latter of which had a director's cut released in 2021. He also directed the animated film Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010), the psychological action film Sucker Punch (2011), the zombie heist film Army of the Dead (2021), and the two-part space opera films Rebel Moon (2023) and Rebel Moon—Part Two: The Scargiver (2024). In 2004, he founded the production company The Stone Quarry (formerly known as Cruel and Unusual Films) alongside his wife Deborah Snyder and producing partner Wesley Coller. In this first movie in the DCEU, Bruce Wayne is suffering after the loss of his parents Thomas and Martha Wayne. as a teenager he is very quiet but Alfred takes up the father figure spot. at the age of 16 Bruce runs away from his home and is attacked by a mob of henchmen that work for Roman Sionis. Batman is saved by Richard Dragon who agrees to train Bruce. Dragon makes a white suit for him to which bruce keeps but rejects and makes one more close to the suit of sorrows. Dragon is killed by a exploding bullet. alfred finds bruce and they build tech to hunt the killler down. He finds and kills both and sees a girl by deadshot, adopts her. she is five months old.
