Bruce Wayne has been Batman for a couple of years, yet he has never met the riddler. Batman faces new treats such as poison ivy, black mask, and Victor Zsasz. The riddler throws Gotham into chaos as gang wars fill the streets between black mask, penguin, and carmine Falcone. At the end of the season the gang wars ends with no one winning. Batman defeats the riddler with the help of commissioner Gordon, detective Bullock, and the newly recruited Tim Drake. The season will end with Dr. Harleen Quinzel meeting the inmate known as the Joker.
