Billionaire CEO and philanthropist Bruce Wayne's life was torn apart at eight years old when his parents were gunned down in an alleyway right in front of him. Outraged, he traveled the world, training himself to the peak of physical and mental perfection and learning various martial arts and aspects of criminology amoung other skills. Returning to his home, Bruce donned the image of the bat in order to strike fear into criminals hearts, armed himself woth an arsenal of weapons and gadgets, and forged an uneasy alliance with the GCPD in an effort to destroy the criminal contingent of Gotham.
