In the not-so-distant future, Earth's champions, the legendary A-Team, sacrifice themselves in an epic battle against an alien threat, saving humanity but leaving a gaping hole in its defenses. The world mourns the loss of its greatest protectors, and in the years that follow, faith in heroes fades. Governments, corporations, and militaries scramble to fill the void, but none can live up to the legacy of the A-Team. Years later, a mysterious and overwhelming force threatens to annihilate Earth, and humanity's survival once again hangs by a thread. With no other options, a clandestine agency dusts off a forgotten list: the Backup Hero Program. These are the "rejects"—heroes deemed too strange, ineffective, or unpredictable to serve on the frontlines. Enter: The B-Team, a ragtag crew of misfits with peculiar, seemingly useless powers. What they lack in skill, coordination, and charisma, they make up for with heart, desperation, and sheer dumb luck.
