In the future, loki takes over earth with the help of the chitauri so iron man goes back in time to try and stop him and Loki follows him resulting in them being sent further back and Loki kills past odin taking his place and tony accidentally kills his parents so he must take Howard’s place and raise himself creating a new timeline.
