New York City is hosting its first "Super Heroes of the Year" competition between the Avengers & the Fantastic Four. This puts some members on both teams at odds with each other, specifically the Hulk & the Thing over who's the strongest and Spider-Man & the Human Torch over who's the funniest & most charming hero around. When Dr. Doom steals a machine from Stark Industries and builds it into a mind control machine to make every superhero in the world fall under his control to prevent any resistance, the Avengers & the Fantastic Four must learn to work together to stop Doom and save every hero.
