Nick Fury assembles Earth’s Mightiest Heroes after several supervillains begin working together under Count Nefaria. After stealing the powers of Living Laser, Power Man, and Whirlwind, Nefaria becomes nearly unstoppable. The newly formed Avengers overcome their differences and work together to defeat him, officially becoming Earth’s greatest superhero team.
