Wyatt Hawn Russell (born July 10, 1986) is an American actor and former professional ice hockey goaltender. Since 2021, he has played John Walker / U.S. Agent in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise, beginning with the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier(2021) and the film Thunderbolts* (2025). Russell has starred in various films, including Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), Goon: Last of the Enforcers (2017), Overlord (2018) and Night Swim (2024), and also starred roles in television shows including Black Mirror (2016), Lodge 49 (2018–2019), and Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (2023–2024). Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne arrive at S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters with the guidance of Director Nick Fury. Fury who introduces the pair to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and are also introduced to the Cosmic Cube. While in conversation, the cube activates itself and opens a wormhole revealing Loki, of Asgard. Loki takes the cube which is he gives its official name ‘the Tesseract’, and uses his sceptre to enslave Erik Selvig and other agents such as Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton. As the agents help Loki escape the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters, Hank, Janet and many of the other chase after their getaway vehicle through the headquarter however they’re completely outrun. In response to this Fury activates the ‘Avengers Initiative Plan’.
