Otto Octavius was once a brilliant and humble scientist who works at Oscorp and dreamed of wanting to impress everyone how important he really is. One day, Dr. Octavius invented a pair of four mechanical arms with artificial intelligence tubes attached to his brain in order to study all the nuclear physics what would help for the future of mankind. Unfortunately, the experiment begins to malfunction, causing the apparatus to explode and infuse in the arms. When Otto was passed out, the mechanical arms all seem to have the minds of their own, brutally killing a lot of people in the building. The artificial intelligence in the arms would cause Otto to change his personality and to become the supervillain known as Doctor Octopus. He would continue doing all the evil plans by murdering innocent lives and finishing the experiment as now a weapon to destroy all of New York City to show how superior he really is.
