Hank Pym has discovered a particle that he calls 'Pym Particles.' He creates a suit that he can use to shrink or grow whenever he wants to. When Vernon van Dyne is killed by a man named David Cannon, his daughter Janet convinces Hank to help her avenge her Father's death. Hank becomes the Ant Man and makes Janet a suit so that she can become the Wasp.
