Dr. Hank Pym, a brilliant but bipolar scientist, is fired from S.H.I.E.L.D. after erratic behavior. With the help of his girlfriend Janet Van Dyne and her father, Vernon, he starts Pym Technologies to develop groundbreaking inventions like the Pym Particle and an ant-controlling helmet. However, their ambitious backer, Elihas Starr, steals Hank’s work, and when Vernon discovers this, Starr murders him. Devastated, Janet convinces Hank to use his technology for justice. Donning a suit powered by the Pym Particle and the ant-controlling helmet, Hank becomes Ant-Man and embarks on a revenge-fueled mission to stop Starr. Their deadly cat-and-mouse game escalates as Starr uses a replica of Hank’s technology, turning ants against him. In a climactic showdown, Hank’s deeper connection with the ants ensures his victory, and Starr is brought to justice. In the aftermath, Hank proposes to Janet, vowing to continue their work together. In a post-credits scene, he reveals the Wasp suit, setting the stage for their next adventure.
