Sam Kirkland is Staten’s father, who traded working the land for representing the Lone Star State in the Senate but somehow gets into complications with King Makisig Nandula, the Royal Family and the Royal Monarchy Administration in New York City. In Season 2, he died in a bombing at the Capitol Building along with Paula Jo and Davis Collins caused by a Radical Patriot Group, led by a man known as "Z" but is based in Texas that despises illegal immigrants, Mexicans in particular.
