Have you ever imagined what if the United States of America is governed by a constitutional monarchy and what if Ransom Canyon takes place in that universe? This is a spinoff to the Netflix series "Ransom Canyon" where it also serves as a potential crossover to Season 2, the United States is under a monarchy led by the King and Queen in which they are from the House of Nandula, a Filipino-American Royal Family that are the descendants of Lakandula from the Tondo Kingdom. This version of the United States is different, as it has two capital cities, Washington, D.C. being the administrative capital and New York City being the royal and financial capital where the Nandula Royal Family resides in the Manhattan Main Palace. In a few years, King Makisig Nandula is about to hand over the crown to his only son and heir apparent, Prince Chris Nandula, in which he must marry a girl (that will become the new Princess of the United States) in order to continue on the royal bloodline and legacy. It is here that Chris travels to Ransom Canyon, Texas to attend Ransom Canyon High School (as he is the only member of the Royal Family who attends American High School) where he suddenly meets Lauren Brigman, the Ransom Canyon High School's ambitious head cheerleader and daughter of the town sheriff. Even though her heart belongs to Lucas which is a boy her father does not approve, she began to have a sense of relationship with Chris and when her father learns that his daughter is chosen as the new Princess of the United States, he began to understand Chris' royalty and his family's image. But more of the drama in Ransom Canyon began to emerge in Season 2, which Makisig suddenly realized that something is off about the families in which he along with his wife, Queen Samantha Nandula and the Royal Monarchy Administration in New York City, he eventually disapproves the installation of the oil pipeline in Ransom Canyon as the royal wedding of Prince Chris Nandula and the new Princess Lauren Brigman offically began preparing.
