Martin Li's youngest daughter. Her life forever changed the day her father underwent experimental treatment for an unknown condition, the results proved disastrous ending in an explosion that killed her mother and sister, leaving her scarred and severely wounded. She barely had any recollection of what happened at the time and puzzled as to how she survived, she assumed it was because of how young she was at the time and was unconscious, at least that's what her father told her. As she grew older, Ka-yeon proved herself to be a genius when it came music mastering the piano and violin as well as composing her own music. Such talent earned her a spot in Juilliard a prestigious arts college. Ka-yeon loves her father and acknowledges that he did his best to raise her while still grieving the loss of her mother and sister but she could never shake the feeling that something about him had changed. Her suspicions were confirmed the day she accidentally walked in on him disciplining one of his men in his alternate form. Horrified by what she witnessed, Ka-yeon attempted to flee but was stopped by her father as he'd noticed she saw him. After receiving a lengthy explanation, she found herself sworn to secrecy by her father.
