Paul Verhoeven (born July 18, 1938) is a Dutch film director, screenwriter, and producer who has made movies in both the Netherlands and the United States. Explicitly violent and/or sexual content and social satire are trademarks of both his drama and science fiction films. He is best known for directing the American feature films RoboCop (1987), Total Recall (1990), Basic Instinct (1992), Starship Troopers (1997), and Hollow Man (2000). Turkish Delight (1973) received the award for Best Dutch Film of the Century at the Netherlands Film Festival. His films altogether received a total of nine Academy Award nominations, mainly for editing and effects. Both RoboCop and Total Recall won an Academy Special Achievement Award. In contrast, his film Showgirls (1995) was poorly received and won seven Golden Raspberry Awards, but has become a cult film over time. A month later after Venom was taken down, the symbiote now in the hands of a secret agency while Eddie Brock was arrested for multiple crimes and attempted murders of Harry Osborn (Judd Nelson), Peter Parker (Michael J Fox) along with others. However as Parker and Mary Jane Watson (Molly Ringwald) recover from the atrocities that they suffered along with the citizens of New York as psychotic killer, Cletus Kasady (Robert Englund) who's been stalking Mary Jane is going on a killing spree. Targeting not only Mary Jane but also Parker as well, not even Harry Osborn is prepared for what the madman has in store for his soon to be victims. The stakes grow to greater heights as another type of symbiote escapes from the confines of the secret agency, travels to Kasady and consumes him as he turns into a nightmarish creature of new levels in the form of Carnage.
