In the story, Eddie even worked for the Daily Bugle along with Peter in the past, at least until the day he was fired by Jameson. With a dangerous remorse within him, things got really dangerous more recently, when he ends up coming into contact with an alien symbiote that escaped Oscorp's captivity, taking on the moniker Venom, and committing brutal crimes in the shadows in the process.
